Ouch - talk about a setback. I like Eureka Seven; I hope [as] at least sees the show through to its ending. Didn't Samurai Champloo get a time shift also when it first premiered? I remember getting 1/3 of the way through the series and they switched up the times.

That kind of sucks, the show was growing on me. I believe Samurai Champloo switched to wednesday. Thats the thing with adult swim is they can't keep the same schedule for more than a week. It is frusturating tuning in at a certain time only to find out that your show has been moved. Sorry for the rant, but I picture the people there spinning a giant roulette every so often to rearrange time slots.

I hate Eureka Seven. Unfortunately, I hate Ghost in the Shell even more -- how can a show be so boring? It's like they set out to make the most boring show on the planet. Which is a pity because "Ghost in the Shell" is a cool name.

I really tried to like Eureka Seven, but it just doesn't click with me. I like Bones' animation style, and Shoji Kawamori does great mecha designs. But after reading the Wiki and finding out that Bandai basically created the idea (probably to sell merchandise like toys and video games) I understand why I felt that this anime didn't have any soul. And even if an anime doesn't have any soul, well, at least it could be entertaining. Or have T n'A.

That's sad. The dub of it was horrible though, Kenshin/One Piece type horrible. The fan sub, despite its... many issues (not quality, just fan sub community issues) is great. E7 reminded me of an Evangelion without the rediculous pomp and with heart.

If people are worried about Eueka seven being cancelled dont be. It is a great show no doubt about it. But you can download most of the episodes on www.youtube.com. They have ep 1-13 then around 8 in between 40. Then they have eps 40-50 which are the best. Also a rumor is in the works about a Eureka Seven movie, and according to the board above they have not moved it yet so it probably will not be moved.

I like (beginning to love) Eureka Seven. I have no idea what you guys are talking about the time change. It is still playing at 12:00 pm. I like Eureka Seven more enjoyable than most animes. It's not like Fullmetal Alchemist, but I'm sure its popularity will pick up.

i guess everyone has different tastes when it comes to anime. Ghost in the shell was an old anime as far as the movie was concerned and the series is quite good. Its not boring its just that major plot events happen in the blink of an eye in a suddle way. If you dont catch it you dont get the story and the action is speradic but well spaced. I dont watch anime on adult swim because they usually *&*&% up and the voice actors sometimes dont get anything right. I prefer pure fansub stuff. ive been watching Eureka 7 and it has potential. I have archived and watched over 1.5 terabytes of anime from fantasy to sci-fi to reality based ones. This isnt near the best that ive seen but it surely isnt boring or uninteresting. Everyone has there likes and dislikes but sometimes i feel that the US audience just prefers stuff dumbed down for them . Case in point look at the movies released in the past 5 years.

I agree with Animearchiver---the idiots of the US marketing and more than half of the US population who watches AS are dumb!!! Eureka Seven is one of the best anime out there. Hell, i watched most of Bleach (that is subbed) and it has nothing compared to E7. E7 has more heart and soul than most anime today has. The only bashing i have about E7 was that its 50 eps are waaay too short.

This is when my theory about how American TV is becoming lousier is more solidified. I tried watching Ghost in the Shell (or at least made an attempt to let it grow on me), but it just didn't. It's not that I can't understand it--because I can--but the show was like going to mass at 6:00am when I didn't go sleep until 4:00am the day before, which is truly shocking, considering I love "Blood+" (also from the creators of Ghost in the Shell). I will have to agree with some of you that the dubbed version of Eureka Seven made me twitch, especially with I heard Renton's dubbed voice... it's horrible. Though, considering I've watched the original version in Japanese, the English translation overall stayed true to the original, and the other voices were decently suited for the rest of the characters. Eureka Seven is an amazing show, no doubt one of the best I've seen. For those of you who like to have your brain challenged, Eureka Seven is a perfect recipe for that. The more you watch the show, the more intricate and intriguing it becomes. Furthermore, the animation and music are magnificent.

In any case, all of us true fans of good quality Anime in all its aspects must learn to cope with US marketing and realize that they're only in it for the money. My suggestion is, read up on your Anime news, download Winamp and watch ShoutCast TV, where they have a whole array of anime streams playing 24 hours a day; download the shows in Japanese with the English subs if you must because you won't find them dubbed; or simply go to YouTube and watch them for free whenever you feel like it (NO SCHEDULE!), without commercial interruptions or need to download.

If you want to watch anime for cheap, but you don't want to rip off the industry, I suggest you get a netflix account, or something similar. For about 30 dollars a month, I watch 5-10 DVD's a week. That's pretty cheap considering some individual DVD's cost you about 25 dollars. Also, the DVD quality is much better than a crappy youtube sub.

Watch the whole series on YOUTUBE. It's actually amazing. I didn't like it at first, but the story line gets really deep and the relationships get really three-dimensional. It's a great find. I feel that it's better than Fullmetal Alchemist. I definitely recommend that you all watch from episode 20 on to episode 50. I did, and what a rush!!! Or, if you haven't been watching [adultswim], you can start from the beginning. It has such a great story that it'd be a shame for it to fade into obscurity so quickly. Who knows...maybe it'll make a comeback someday. But really, it''s worth your time. Definitely check it out.

ok easy way to put this if you havent seen all 50 then please dont bash it...it gets much better at the end...also I say go with the sub because the dub is cut to hell like they have done with naruto Bleach and many others to fit what the FCC deems is right.

this was one of my favorites untill i watched it 3 times i got carried away with it i think i downloaded all the subed episodes off torrentz 11 gig took 24 hours but thats because it took a while to get to go fast it top at like 930kbs its a science its not thar hard you can find anything on the internet
i still think the last 5 episodes were the best

Hm, I watched the subbed version of it on youtube in 3 days, and now it's my favourite anime. I've only had 1 actual "favourite" before, but this one beats it. For people who say it sucks, it's probably because they want tons of action and fighting. Hell, this anime has a lot of that, but mostly is about the characters (something most anime's lack). The characters actually grow up, take Renton for example. He seems like a complete brat at first, but eventually he matures and learns a lot of things and "grows up". The ending makes you feel like you want to watch more though. The only thing that actually bothers me about the anime is that it ended, and also most of the rumours are probably lies.

P.S. Canada doesn't "suck", it's just another landform on this planet with the same type of humans, only stereo-typed, except maybe less ignorant (no complete offense ;o).

Well, it gets kinda slow in the beginning and middle, but sick with it to the end (if you like it) and at least to around ep. 10 to 13 (if you don't, try to give it till there.) I personnally got to the point where I'm fed up with AS. I watch all my anime from either YouTube or via torrents. But trust me, the overall scheme of things is incredibly amazing, as is the end. This show completely ROCKS!!!!!

Eureka 7 has to be one of my favorite animes. I can't wait to get the manga, although I hear they are taking a different direction in the manga, so it wont be just like the anime. And for those who don't know, the manga was created after the anime. Then again, anime preferences differ from person to person. For myself, I like action and/or romance related anime/manga. This anime is perfect for people like myself because its entertaining in both plot and character development.

The japanese version of E7 has much more emotion, as with almost all animes. Though the dubbed version has a good voice actor for Eureka, her voice is almost mesmorizing. Anyways, if your a romance buff and are willing to stick it to around ep. 26 or so, then you will be rewarded. Awesome series, BONES did a great job and I hope they intend to make a movie.

And Paranoia Agent and Ghost in the Shell are the worst shows ever made they make no sence im going to laughh wen they find out only 1,000 people are watching ghost in the shell they should have never even made Paranoia Agent at sometimes your at one place and something else happens and you never go back to what was hapening before.

Eureka Seven is the best show EVER!!! gorgious animation, the best animation in animes, id like to see anyone try to have something better, great storyline, AWESOME DRAMA!!!! most emotional anime in history i say. Oh and btw you guys that cant download all the jap subbed episodes can just buy the whole series off ebay, they have it sometimes, i was very lucky to get mine off there, it has subb titles, they suck ass but its worth it non the less, its understandable.

Eureka Seven is one well put together anime. I thought it was average through the first 10 or so dub episodes. But, the english subs made me love it. I suggest that people watch the sub version because the dub voices are screwed up and the character relationships just do not happen. The characters tend to grow on you as you will see them differently througout the anime. The thing that makes this anime great is that there is an emotional impact not present in many animes. This isn't some ordinary mech ainme show. There is deep emotional elements driven by the action and plot. The end will leave you thinking about it too. Eureka Seven is one of the best animes ever! No doubt about it!

Hi, yes, if you have heard rumors of their being a Eureka Seven movie, your correct. Some insiders in Japan have reported on their websites that a movie is (POSSIBLY) being made right now, however, it's also just as likely that they havn't started making it yet but plan to.

Well I must say, from watching Japanese cartoons since Vehicle Voltron up until now (a whole lot of toons) E7 has everything you need, fighting, aerial surfing, sadness, happiness and embarressment, just like a tv series. A story about love, hope and believing in others around you. What more do you need. I downloaded and watch everyshow as we dont get much at all here. At first I did think "this is similar to Evangelion" (the whole 14 yo thing that can save the planet) as the story went on I got sucked in severely and loved it. I watch all 50 episodes within a week and a half.

They better bloody make a movie lol. Just to see what happens.

I just happened to read an interesting fan fic about Eureka and Renton coming home. (It had mistakes though) It actually had a decent premise of people's reactions to Eureka's wings. People look'in at them funny and whatnot. The fact is that there task wouldn't be that easy if they return.

I wasn't referring to a game exactly but maybe a movie or someth'in. Seeing ray, charles, holland, and eureka as SOF. And then you have Talho and Hap too. Reminded me of the picture of Holland, Ray, and Charles chill'in.

well, Eureka was found in the coralion thingy near the same time Renton was born, she was in a dorment state and wasnt harmed by aging probly, so she counts as being the same age as Renton, and for those of u that have thought about this (i know i have) i bet when they pulled her outa the thing, her aging cycle started, so i bet she ages the same as humans, lol, it would be weird if when Renton and Eureka were grown up if Eureka hadn't aged at all, so ya, lets all just assume she ages along with Renton, we'll all feel better about it XD lmfao

I love eureka seven, took me 3 days to watch the entire series.
And god damn, the only reason why this anime series can kiss my ass is cause the people who made it, only made 50 episodes! It's so sad!

Guys, I don't like Anime the least. But Eureka Seven is on of the most amazing shows I have ever watched, the dramatic storyline alone is above that of Fullmetal Alchemist. I never liked Eureka Seven, untill I started watching it on YouTube, for some reason the English subs make the show even shine more. Just give it a chance, I was sceptacle at first, but I am so SO happy I watched this series, it has truly changed my life.

Eureka SeveN is an emotional show, so it dosn't appeal to people who don't like that
stuff, and anyway, most Americans stay up to that time just to watch porno,
emotional cartoons don't matter to them.
And thats most of america.
plus they've already missed a whole chunk of the show, so they don't understand most

Its true, E7 doesn't look like a worthwhile anime to watch but its an anime that grows on you if you just keep watching. Trust me, by the time you hit eps 20+ you'll see so many character development and find a deep emotional plot that you'll go "Wow, I'm hooked."

Seriously, this is not an anime that you'd want to miss.
I'd even go and say that it's better than Full Metal Alchemist (ending-wise, plz dont burn me!).

e7 was the best tv series in 2006, you have to admit that. and i heard it's very very popular in japan.

it's true that e7 doesn't have that much actions...instead it has depth. but when it does come to actions, shows like bleach are not even in its league. just watch episode 49, the graphics is amazing.

For those seeing a relationship between this show and eva, your right it dose have that feeling to it, but your reasoning maybe off a little (the hole would rest in our hands is what gives it the feeling, mixed with some mecha.. but besides this small similarity nothing else even relates... well maybe what the type zero says at the every end... but youll have to watch it to understand)

My over all oppion of this show is that it was good, im not a fan of shows involving kids (0-16) because of natural maturity, kids maturity dosn't grow on them as fast as the plot moves... they could have made Eureka and renton 16-18 and they would have fit a more reasonable age range. Althow i did like how they showed Renton to look more mature in the last EP. This being my only problem ill rank this show as a 7 out of 10. -1 for age being unreasonble of Renton and Eureka, -1/2 for an 99% closed ended show (rearity for such shows usally they are alittle more open ended.) and a -1/2 for the ending to have happend so quickly, however it did flow well with how the rest of the show flowed; This being said, the show did save itself from a lower rating in my books. no show will ever get a full 10 out of me, do to the fact that i have yet to see ALL of what anime has to offer. :-) in ending a little quote from the show.

im right there with you luis that ending was incredible, please who ever is in charge of eurka sevens programing for the love of god please make a movie like bleach has, there is no way that any true fan can settle for such a quick ending, there are soo many questions un answered, like what happens to our favorite lovers, will they return to bell forest, and what the heck man NIRVASH is a girl where did that come from, the series is great, the story line keeps you on your toes, the relationships are out of this world, please dont just drop us like that, heres hoping with all you other fans out there for an EUREKA SEVEN MOVIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah they did. I saw the japanese version of episode 50 and they leave it totally open for a movie. if you have youtube then you should be able to see it. Its subbed though. Apparently rentons grandfather is having all of the kids and eureka's name legally changed to thurston, or thats what I heard the papers said.

Why does everyone hate Renton's voice? I saw ths subbed version first and I think the english dub is great. His voice is totally perfect for the character, the Eva thing is annoying and the japanese voices don't fit the non-japanese looking characters anyway.

So when they compare it to the Eng One, There Is A BIG Difference.
I saw the english one first, It was awsome, Until i saw the jap one.
But Its still ok.

And thats why everyone hates his voice, the english actor

WARRNING... POSSIBLE SPOILER.



um the ending had left very few questions... except if the new human cities were built ontop of the shell that grew around earth... how did the cities servive the fall when it disappaired? Given that this is an anime it probably will have to be taken on face value that the cities were gently guided to the ground below them by the coralens.

As for Renton and Eureka we know that they will keep searching for bell forest. providing that Renton's grandfarther and the kids wernt taken by the coralens as part of the 50% of humanity that they were to take with them.

E7 is the best anime i've ever seen, though that may not mean much considering i just got into anime, but i can say that if it was'nt for the series i would have no interest in the genre whatsoever.
i find infact that it set my anime standards unfairly high and i have trouble enjoying other series becuase they just arent like E7
at any rate, its an epic story that anyone who is'nt dead inside can fall in love with in no time
and i know the presentation of the limit of life within the plot scored major points with some people

i saw one episode of it on YTV one night and could'nt bring myself to finish due to rentons voice
but nuances stayed with me and i ended up DL'ing the japanese series with subs
way better all around

english voice renton sounds like a midget on crack and eng voice eureka sounds way too old, for example

Awww, Thats so sad that it was moved back, Even sadder it ended last month, I loved watching it, I even fell in love with Eureka (I mean Litteraly fell in love) watching episode 50, And they have to replace it with Ghost in the Shell reruns, Thats not right, Eureka Seven should be reran, Its one of the few shows I prefer the dub over the sub (Which I'm up to 35 of)

I have to say i greatly enjoyed this show. It started really slow and reaton is very annoying in the first episodes , but i enjoyed seeing him grow. I first started watching it on adult swim, but stopped because of time change, it didn't grab my attention. so one day i decided i would watch the whole series , i got it and did and i have to say that it is one of my favorites. Everybody has different tastes. I guess i went into it with no pre- judgement or expecting anything , so i was more open to enjoy it.

i think nothing beats a fuked up plot like evangelion does I mean even the movie left more holes in the story than resolving them and to top it off E7 beat its skinny butt in each direction, the action was better, the protagonist grew during the story instead of regressing and screaming till going completely insane andmost of all it made sense,by the end of watching eva bludy hell was i confused and thought i had wasted alot of my time, however during the movie there were somepoints of awesome gory animation but then again it came around once thusundoing itself yet again o well E7 beats eva hands down, however FMA beats both :P if only FFX was an anime not sure if that wd beat em all >:D

If you have watched all 50 episodes, you will understand that calling this anime great, entertaining, or wonderful will be an understatement.

This is a genuine masterpiece.

Out of ALL the anime I have watched in these many years, Eureka Seven is my all-time favorite, hands down.

Why?

The characters connect with you. Especially if you have empathy and sensitivity. As the series move on, the characters develop even more.

Action, humor, romance, drama, unique plot, ideas, and setting, and of course, mech scenes all combine to form this masterpiece.

Music? Perfect.

Ten million thumbs up. Eureka Seven definitely fits among Japan's favorite anime list. Looking around different anime sites, I understand why this anime is at the top. I can't get enough of it. I'm terribly saddened that it ended, even though I was genuinely satisfied with it.

Watch it. Even though I finished it, it's all still fresh in my mind. All 50 episodes.

The English dub on Adult Swim doesn't come remotely close to the quality of the original Japanese version of the anime. To be honest, the English version kills off the goodness of the original. That's why after watching Episode 01, the English version, I felt like throwing up.

Again, you must watch at least half of the series, JAPANESE version, to get into the whole deal, and you won't regret it. This series is one of the best. For me, the best, but for others, top 10 at least.

I thought E7 was a sucky anime at first. yeah a just watch a part of 1 episode i think it was six or seven, the part where rentons is trick to take that soup. but after some time I watch it from the first episode and I begin to like the show. and the best is that most of the anime has sad endings, and if it has a happy ending is not really good. but with E7 is not that sad of an ending eureka and rentons are still a live every ones is save just like holland said it will, but not every one are together they just finished the perfect way with a little of happy and sadness ind the end.

oh I forgot to says is one of the few anime with mechas that the end was perfect the fans didn´t complain, for what I have read most of the people think the ending was great. I´m not going to said the names of some anime series that has mechas that the en had to be done again because it didn´t fill the fans. I had a feeling from the so-called 'sucky' first episodes that there was something different about this anime. from the first show it had soul, a well realised world and a full scape of characters and locations that seemed to live and breathe without necessarilly serving massively to the plot but helpng to create a truly immersive, deep universe.

I was particularly impressed with the many themes of evolution that run through the show such as the way the plotlines expanded and got heavier as the series went on, the way renton, eureka, the nirvash and even maurice all grew both physically and as characters bit by bit before our eyes (even in terms of how they are drawn each episode). If only other animes could evolve as subtly and beautifuly as E7 does, it really is an astounding achievement. epic in every aspect you would want an anime to be.

add to that, cool, mysterious mechs and a charming love story that really does disarm even the most cynical of slush haters (i.e.=me) and you have one of THE best series ever in any genre- anime or otherwise. The ending gave me an amazing feeling and like everyone who has watched it, i am waiting eagerly for a movie.

ps: i dont believe in dubs. you should only really watch things in their original language with voice actors that were cast by the CREATORS of the source material, instead of some punks that were dragged in off the street with no understanding of the characters that sound like theyre reading the lines under duress.

Eureka 7 was a great anime because it showed a wonderful love story of too opposing people. Like a modern day fantasy version of Romio and Juliet(except without the dieing at the end part). It showed what everyone wants someone to hold and love that loves you back. The only problem is that like most animes it seems so easy and ends happy(maybe not for us cause we want more, but it ends happy for the characters). The fact is that the relationship between Eureka and Renton is fantasy and we all watched it because we wish we could have a real relationship like that.

Eureka Seven is the best anime in the universe. Everything about the anime was perfectly made. The characters, the story, the animation, the voice acting, the music, everything was amazing and perfect. It is a must-watch anime. I'm basing this on the fansub. I don't know much about the dub though... Just watch the fansub, it is truly worth it.

Finally saw all 50 eps thanks to YouTube and Veoh, and no thanks to [as]. Whoever "couldn't get into" it must've given up after 2-3 eps. The series is awesome. One of my favorites and I've seen more than my fair share of anime. The character development is good, Kawamori's mecha designs are awesome as expected (I want a model of the Gekko-go), and the story is an emotional roller coaster. Don't think so? Watch ep24 and tell me you don't get choked up. (She's wearing his clothes?!?) And that's just one example. I reccomend the subbed version, as usual. The American voice actors just can't seem to convey the gravity and depth of emotion that the original voices have. And that's coming from an American! And for gods sakes E7 is nothing like Eva. Eva was good giant-robot anime turned headtip (which I still enjoyed thoroughly). E7 had so much more to it (And twice as many episodes =P ) But where's the movie? Is it just a rumor? I want to see more!

Man, i cant wait, i hope thay make a movie, but if they are they will probably milk DVD sales for all they are worth. I mean they havent even released all the episodes on DVD in the US, at least thats my take, im in australia so i can only go by the web.

I am a patient man tho, ill wait if i have to, i just wish someone would stop doing the proverbial beat around and tell us ONCE ANF FOR ALL if there is going to be a movie!!!

well im not that happy about time move on adult swim but then again i can just watch them all on youtube. well E7 is one of the best armored suit style anime but what pisses me off the most are anime that cut you off without a real ending or hints of continuing the story. i do hope the movie starts off where the eps. ended. They need to go all out on a game for the ps3 with fast game play fighting style and ultra high graphics

Ok i love Eureka 7 i think that its a great show and it actualy made me sad when the showed the last episode and i started watching it again and it makes me sad all over again so i hope there is a movie like there was one for full metal that happens after the last episode to help out the show with more episodes so if anyone knows for sure if there making a movie please e-mail me and tell me (ckerkes@charter.net)

Okay um what i want to say is that they really need to make a movie on this or a second season it makes me feel so sad that if you have alot of people(public) wanting this movie why not make everyone happy. If its about the money i would think that alot of people would watch it let alone by the series. My expectation would be that they are going to make something to continue the series it was a big cliff hanger at the end that needed a continuation the story didnt wrap up like any other anime wanting to close it's ties.

Great show!!!!! There is something about it that makes you want to watch it more!!!!
I really like Eureka 7, and I am a guy that doesn't really like anime cartoons!!!!
Some episodes even made a couple of tears come out!!!LOL
But really this is a really good show!!!!!
They should really make a movie or a second part!!!!

I first spotted Eureka Seven on the 1:30 time; I was into it but it was towards the end of the show. So I got online and watched it on my computer. When I got done watching all the shows; I want it to continue. I keep watching over and over again; I can't et enough of Eureka Seven. I even change my Gaia profile to Eureka Seven. They have to continue this show into a moive or into more episodes. I would like to know what there future together will be like and how everyone else life too.

Please don't cancel the show. I just recently started to watch it and love it. I was hoping that there would be more episodes and I'm on episode 44 now. I don't know what I'd do if they didn't make anymore episodes.

You can not cancel this show. With all the people who have talked on this it shows that most of the people here love it and watched it on Youtube or other video areas. You cant not stop on episode 50 you have to continue this show; for all the Eureka Seven fans.

Now I know it may be a matter of Opinion, but Seeing many anime that are out there ranging from Air Gear, Bezerker, Gun Sword, and many others. Eureka Seven was a fresh breath to the anime scene espically those of the mech type. The developing releationship between Renton and Eureka, the story line, not to mention the charecters themselves. This anime has an amazing plot, supporting cast and a reason to watch over and over again. Do i hope there is a movie Yes. Do I think there will be one....HELL YES. You cannot let the series end without a movie. If some of you are looking to find the episodes..check out animethat.com If you have an eureka seven itch that needs to be scratched..then scratch away. Well im off to watch some more anime, Oh and the final episode....will leave your hair on end. By far an amazingly written anime. I hope to see more like it. PEACE

the series was great and unfortunately... i don't think there will be a movie. but its too early to decide that. movies take years. however a movie would really help tie up the many loose ends that the series made. seeing their biological children would be interesting... since that was the aim of Eureka being sent out in the first place, even if that wasn't put very plainly. I think Nirvash was the only one who actually said that...

Eureka Seven is probably one of the most amazing Anime series to come out of Japan.
It is a very Heart wrenching and Philosophically deep storyline.

I can see why some people might not understand it or not even like it.
Though it honestly comes down to taste and intellect, yet I personally don't understand how one could even remotely compare it to junk like MST3000, granted stuff like MST3000 is one long running joke that people tend to miss out on and is not supposed to be intellectually stimulating, but more along the lines of butt and fart jokes.

However Eureka Seven is not even in the same ballpark, the story itself is dealing with a lot of Japanese Cultural Philosophies- including Buddhism and some form of Christianity but only on the Philosophical end, and Historical marks that still rage in Japanese Anime such as references to WWII.
It deals with how Families are torn apart by War and Government misdeeds.
How Racial cleansing is evil.
How brain washing in any form is wrong and the injustice it does to the one brain washed, and the Psychological ramifications it has for that one.
How Love and Family no matter who or what we are, are the utmost important design we should be after.

It also shows that the seemingly Good and Evil sides have both Genuine mantras and reasoning behind there crusades, and neither is really wrong in what they believe, however it is the way they each use there belief to subjugate the other and in their disagreements wage hate filled war and fights that hurt Everyone.
And in the end serve no ones best interests.
That the only thing that conquers all is Love.

-That is at least what I and my mutual Eureka Seven friends saw in it.
For those that have willing and open minds, and those that have a disposition towards Philosophy, this Series is for those types.

It is not I have found for those that are Sycophants, Warmongers, those of a callow nature, and those who do not get what philosophy in itself is... let alone understanding the many different disciplines out there and those referenced within the Series.

Only thing that bothered me were the kids, mostly since they cried every dam minute.

It ended kinda fast, but i enjoyed the ending it leaves me to wonder what happened to every one.
I would love for a prequel to come out with Eureka and SOF.

does everybody just hate the dubs no matter what nowadays?
in my opinion, i thought the dubs were done nicely and i like Bosch as the voice actor for renton rather than the japanese voice actor.
it could just be that my native tongue is english but still.
anyways, this is pretty much my favorite anime.
just finished watching the ending on adult swim twice and a few more times on youtube.
i've watched the whole series through about 3 times.
it never gets old because it's just so darn awesome!
i keep hearing they're making a season 2 or a movie but it might just be rumors..

Eureka Seven is the grestest anime i have ever seen. It also has the power to change someones prospective of there current reality. I'm already watching this anime for the third time now ,and the reason behind this is it made me seeing things in a diffrent tone instead of negitive. Seeing renton and eureka makes me want a relationship like theres of my own. You can say i'm a person searching for something from a fictional word , and yet it still possible in world.This anime helps a person if seen in a diffrent prospective learn something about them selfs that they didnt know they had. I'm a guy and i learned I cant be a player i cant use a girl just like that but want a relationship that renton and eureka had . For theses reason i have to say eureka seven is the best anime of this time not only from its graphics , story but the way a person could self discover them selfs by just thinking about it . I'm Looking foward to the movie or series thats coming out which i from i'v been reading the company owns both eureka seven and full metal acamist and there getting a larger staff to work on a big project and seeing how full metal acemist is over it leaves eureka seven there only project not realy done yet. Also the same company just renewed there license for eureka seven, and info even know small is leaking very little info about the movie.

Sorry for my last post i notice there were many spelling mistakes and the very end didnt make sence, i was sick that day and was getting tiered to the point where i didnt reread it for errors but what i was trying to say that, unlike Full metal alchemist they going to countinue the story on eureka seven , and like i said in my previous statement Bones owns both eureka seven and full metal alchemist projects and for what many people know full metal is a closed project, and latly then been hiring bigger staff preparing for a new project and seeing how full metal out the window and closed it leaves only eureka seven so there going to either going to create a movie or a new series but from what i been reading they got a contract for another 2 years and there already information leaking about about the future. Most of there staff cant realy talk about it cause there bond by contract but if you read around you can find some facts out there just make sure you dont stump into some rumors and fake information. I cant wait till the new euerka seven i have to say this series really made me look deeper within my self by the moral lessons and values that it shows.

well they have a new contract for the next two years so i guess there being funded to create something new. but i dont think it will take all two years i just cant wait till it comes out and its in english dub. I dont know why people dont like it cause i prefer the english version much better even thought i like anime. Anemone i believe wasnt a coralian i think she was created from the labs like thoses other girls that died in ep 44 when they went to warsong to find a replacement for anemone, but unlike the other girls that died she had something diffrent in her to be able to with stand the plastic surgery i think what caused the eyes and the medication. The kids around colonel dewey were just adopted orphans which he trained to be the way they were and just like how acted with anemone kind yet twisting them to his will.

Although red_dragon15 does not have very good grammer, I completey agree with his incredibly long post. Eureka 7 is by far my favorite anime, it changed how I view the world. Don't think of me as an easily mendable person though it is very hard to change my morals, but I thought it was a truly spectacular show. Besides I just really like love stories. I am also highly anticipating, either a movie or what's after Eureka 7. If you dont like that show, I respect your reasoning, but it is my favorite anime.

I've heard rumors of a NEW season AND A MOVIE.
Is it true because I'd really like some closure because after i saw all of it I needed to see more.

they don't really have any pictures or trailers of the new season or movie yet nothing will be said officially from the company till April. most of the info of the new things to come or from leaks and actions that the company is taken that is mostly focusing on eureka seven. Also reed thank you I'm glad that even though my grammar sucked you at saw the outline i was trying to make . I tend to make a habit of not rereading my work for any errors or seeing if it makes senses.

okay..many of my friends doesnt like this series..
but there are many people who love this series...

personaly i would say this anime quite entertaining...maybe boring for someone who love action anime - simple minded story (no brain) like
naruto/bleach...

but hey... this anime got huge awards...

Bildungsroman (novel of self-cultivation)
a novelistic form that concentrates on the spiritual, moral, psychological, or social development and growth of the protagonist usually from childhood to maturity.

Bildungsroman usually contain the following course:

The protagonist grows from boy to man or girl to woman.
The protagonist must have some reason to go on this journey. A loss or discontent must jar him or her at an early stage away from the home or family setting.

The process of maturing is long, arduous, and gradual, consisting of repeated clashes between the needs or desires of the hero and the views and judgments enforced by an unbending social order. this is why i loved this anime...it's an anime with a simple story about a boy..and become a man...to protect eureka the one he loved most..

The series also covers other more personal themes such as parenting, and family, along with a very innocent view of puppy love/love at first sight from Renton and Eureka.

Identity and protection play a huge role for Renton and Eureka, as both of them say, "I am me" in the series multiple times, and Renton has sworn to protect Eureka.

Continuing with themes addressed in previous series, responsibility and guilt manifest most explicitly with repeating the phrase, "You're going to carry that weight." The series works these themes, as well as the theme of growing up and change, into the journey of Renton Thurston.

I dont understand how some people dont like this anime (must be the people who think bleach's story is a masterpieces *the show is good but dont even try to convince me the story has any emotional "worth"*)a lot of you love it as i can see and its easy to see why. This show has spectacular animation, the character depth is the best ive seen in any anime or any other series for that matter, the story is extremely well done and interesting and its just all around one of (if not the) the best anime series ever made. And someone in an earlier post said it felt like the show didnt have any soul. I dont know what kind of humor that is but if taking reality and turning it completely upside down is funny, then you my friend are hilarious. This is one of those shows that seems to start slow (which may have been why it was overlooked in the US) but those who were smart enough to stick with it would have been rewarded with an amazing and emotionally moving story. This in a nutshell is one of the best shows and i think it is tragic that people in the north America *which happens to be where i live* are so foolish and quick to judge this so poorly. One another note, Yes there is a movie coming out and BONES is making a new series with a fairly similar feel *the animations looks very similar* called Xam'd Lost Memories so check it out if u love eureka seven
